Located near the downtown center of Buffalo, New York, Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces for every event style, size and occasion. Our Ballroom Hall, Rathskeller Lounge and Bar, and additional party and activity rooms offer alternative spaces that can be tailored to meet your event’s individual style and preference.
Our cultural center is easily accessible, located just one block from the 33 expressway at Jefferson Avenue. Parking is available in a secure and gated parking lot directly adjacent to the Center. You’ll see our blue and yellow Ukrainian flag from the expressway!
Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center serves as the heart of Ukrainian culture and tradition in Western New York. All events hosted at Dnipro support our local Ukrainian community, which is home to the Ukrainian American Youth Association, Ridna Shkola (Ukrainian Saturday school), Women’s Choir “Mriya”, the Ukrainian Credit Union, children’s educational groups, the Ukrainian library of Buffalo, and our Ukrainian kitchen.
Dnipro offers prepaid alcohol or cash bar alternatives. We stock popular American and European beers, including Ukrainian and Polish imports, wines and liquors, and can source select alcohols upon request. Water, juice, soda, and non-alcoholic options are also available. We will work with you to prepare a beverage plan specific to your event. Dnipro Hall maintains a New York State (NYS) liquor license and does not permit outside alcohol in accordance with NYS law.

BALLROOM HALL
The Ballroom Hall at Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center can accommodate up to 200 guests. Located on the 2nd floor, the Hall’s grand and vaulted ceilings, bar and stage, and elegant artwork, make it perfect for weddings, galas and larger events. The Hall was originally painted by volunteers M. Borachok and A. Antonyshyn in 1955 and restored by local artists B. Kovalchuk and D. Derhak quite recently in 2022. This great hall is a true expression of Ukrainian culture and art. Legend has it that these artists spent nearly two years painting the Hall painstakingly by hand without the use of stencil! The Ballroom Hall centers around its impressive stage making it a popular venue for live music and art, theater, wedding receptions and so much more.
RATHSKELLER LOUNGE BAR
Featuring one of Buffalo’s longest and most iconic bar-tops, our first-floor Rathskeller Lounge Bar can accommodate up to 75 guests. The bar lounge hosts a recently renovated and full-size billiard table, dart board, optional small stage, speaker system, televisions and more making it the perfect spot for small gatherings such as birthday parties, showers, diaper parties, and cocktail receptions. A full working kitchen is directly adjacent to the lounge. Come raise a glass with us and celebrate your special and intimate gatherings at Rathskeller Lounge Bar!
OUTDOOR SPACE
Behind the primary building at Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center sits a wonderful 23,000 square-foot landscaped outdoor space with mature trees and shading, accessible from both the secured parking lot, bar lounge, and kitchen. This grass-covered outdoor area hosts our Ukrainian Cultural Day every year, accommodating a full stage and seating, and is perfect for a family reunion, outdoor vendor showcase, fair, or exhibit grounds.
PARTY & ACTIVITY ROOM
Our newly constructed party and activity rooms at Dnipro Ukrainian Culture Center can accommodate up to 50 guests. These bright and renovated rooms offer games including ping-pong, air-hockey, foosball, dance space (with full-length mirrors and ballet bar), and more. These smaller yet functional spaces are a great fit for workshops, birthday parties, showers, and more intimate and smaller events.
TARAS SHEVCHENKO LIBRARY & MEETING ROOM
The Taras Shevchenko library can accommodate up to 60 people and is home to Western New York’s largest Ukrainian library and historical resources. The space is multifunctional with a projector and ample row seating, making it perfect for meetings, guest lecturers, and more. Immerse yourself in a room steeped in Ukrainian heritage and host your next meeting or event at the Taras Shevchenko library.
